    This course is an examination of energy, and how our use of energy impacts society and the environment. It examines what energy is, how we produce it, the Earth's various energy resources, how they originate, and how they can be exploited. Included are examples from B.C. and Vancouver Island. It examines the environmental impacts of energy use, the implications of the use of fossil fuels, and the Kyoto process.
